Who We Are

A fellowship of students of the Qur'an

Ongoing since 610 and as old as the Muhammadan call, Qur'an Circles strive to understand revelation, live it, and carry the Prophetic sunnah into life.

Our mission

Our mission is to have the message of revelation understood faithfully — taught by living it, grasped through ongoing learning — and to bring people into Qur'an Circles.

Our vision

To make the shared social and moral values gathered in the Qur'an intelligible and practised in every part of life — not only by Muslims, but by all people, without distinction of religion, language, race, school, temperament, or ideology.

Our story

Our story began in 610

Understanding and conveying revelation — the driving force behind the great movement of faith begun by the Messenger of God — mattered for the building of life. Revelation had shaped the lives of its first addressees, step by step. Why should we be left without it?

Long years of work on understanding the Qur'an became institutional in 2012 under the Qur'an Generation Project, completing the groundwork of Nebevi Qur'an Circles.

Nebevi Qur'an Circles are regular, structured reading groups formed to read the Qur'an together, understand it faithfully, and carry revelation into life.

The Prophet devoted himself to this project and wrote a twenty-three-year epic. When the project reached completion, his life ended. Did the project end? It did not. It continues, because it was God's project, not bound to persons. It was a project of being a mercy to the worlds.

Those we call the Companions grew, and became stars, to the extent they entered God's project.

Would you not also want to take part in God's project — indeed, to become God's project? Our story · since 610
